We are located less than 10 minutes from Rochester and 60 minutes from the Twin Cities, adjacent to a County Park. There are multiple routes to our location. Please avoid County Road 105 NW to the North due to steep incline and minimum maintenance road.

Although we have plenty of onsite parking, we highly recommend considering carpooling. There may be transportation for you provided by the couple or event organizer.  For weddings, vehicles are allowed to be left overnight but must be picked up by 11:00AM the next day. Owner has right to have vehicles removed that are left past this time, at their discretion.

Bearwood Event Barn is located on a beautiful 5-acre property in the Zumbro River Valley of Southeastern Minnesota. There are multiple gathering areas, along with a climate-controlled indoor venue. Please check the weather in 55920 for the most accurate forecast. Although most walkways are paved, consider flats, boots, and wedges for comfort as you may walk through grass and gravel depending on your event. Additionally, we have handicap parking spaces, along with drop-off, directly in front of the venue.

Children are welcome!  Please make sure all children are attended to throughout events.

Pets are allowed as part of a wedding ceremony only.  No other pets allowed.  Service animals are OK.

If not part of a room block, there are numerous hotels in nearby Rochester to choose from.  Oxbow Park, which is adjacent to our location, also offers camping.

Clients, Guests, and Event Coordinators are responsible for all items left behind immediately following an event or site visit at Bearwood Event Barn. If an item is found by a team member of Bearwood Event Barn, it is turned in to the office and our staff will do their best to contact the client or coordinator for retrieval. All items left after 7 days will be donated or discarded.
